There is no such thing as a joke. The joke is a mythological offspring of the equally nonexistent thing known as "humor".

It is believed that these fictional ideas were created in an attempt to distract from the fact that everything is 100% serious all the time and that everything one says and does must be taken as if the one stating it believed it to be completely and utterly factual, as well as of the most dire importance.
