The Great Furry Protest of 07

Not a protest by furries, but rather a protest against furries.
The entire raid consisted of, at most, five people. Three at most were in "costume" and carrying protest signs. They stood on a single streetcorner outside a daycare center and got rained on. Fursuited congoers would occasionally wander over and request photos because they found the protesters funny. At one point they looked so pathetic that the con director himself went out and held an umbrella over them and talked to them for awhile. During this period he noted to the protesters how much the con usually donated to charity after its art auction. The /b/tards, being merely internet tough guys and thus not able to hold up their seeming vehemence in the face of a real person with real facts, muttered something about how that was nice and wouldn't look him in the eye.
This raid was deemed a complete and utter epic failure by everyone but the most hardcore 7chan /b/tards, who have declared it a massive success and that the entirety of furry has been destroyed. Slightly more realistic /b/tards are currently desperately hoping that there's some sort of humorless backlash from the furries to justify the raid as having angered them. Currently no such backlash has been forthcoming.
This protest is notable in that it is perhaps the first and so far only time that furries have won quite so massively over "normal" chanboard goers. 7chan /b/ may go down in history as having suffered the single greatest loss in the War on Furries.
